This summer has been a busy one for us. We've had swimming camps, vacation at the cabin, and Zach is getting ready for kindergarten. A new batch of photos are up and we are trying to enjoy our time as summer begins to wind down.
Through the long wait to get the pendant lights in. They are now finally installed and we can call our kitchen finished! New items include pendant lights, window shades, and oven installed.
After a long delay we have an update. Notable things include painting the dining room, installing the baseboards and trim, and granite countertops are almost done.
After an long update break, we come back with stories of mudding, pipe moving, painting, and cabinet installation.
Day nine of the project brings the first application of mud to the drywall.
Sink venting pipe is complete. Drywall has gone up.
The first phase of the electrical work is done. Drywall is going back up. Counter top decisions close to being done.
The electricians are nearly finished. Pete our contractor is ready to go with drywalling. New lights for the kitchen and dining room are purchased. Floor covering decision has been made and we're closer to picking out counter tops.
Day five was for the electricians. Recessed lighting is installed.
Base wall extended and Gabe's door is framed in.
Day three brought a wall down and a door removed. Some gas line work was done to prepare moving the gas line.
Electrical moved and ceiling prepped for wall removal.
The cabinets have arrived. The contractor has been hired. And now the kitchen remodel has begun. Work has begun!
Ultrasounds checks for things that weren't visible during the second ultrasound!
On October 7th Sarah had a doctor's appointment to check on the health of the baby.
